Bougie Prints started with a simple frustration that every teacher knows too well: school T-shirt orders were always a mess.

Our founder, Cammie, teaches in the Jefferson Parish area. At her school, everyone calls her “Mrs. Bougie,” a nickname that stuck because of her stylish, creative personality. But the real story behind Bougie Prints has nothing to do with a nickname it’s about solving a problem she lived through every year.

Why Bougie Prints Was Born

As a teacher, I was constantly involved in field trips, spirit days, fundraisers, class projects, and school events. And every time shirts were needed, it turned into chaos:

  • Wrong sizes showing up
  • Cheap shirts that didn’t last
  • Designs nobody was excited about
  • Teachers chasing down payments
  • Parents confused about what to buy
  • Last-minute stress when deadlines slipped

Instead of being fun, school apparel became another headache on top of an already full workload.

I believed it didn’t have to be that way.

I wanted a simple, reliable, high-quality solution for her school community — something that made the process smooth for teachers, stress-free for parents, and exciting for students. She wanted people to actually like the shirts they bought.

So I created Bougie Prints to fix exactly that.
